	Topic : This term we are finding out what it is like to live in Africa.We had a visit from the founder of “FOMO” and now we are collecting soap for the charity in Malawi.
	We really enjoyed looking at African artefacts at the World Museum in Liverpool.
	Art : We are looking at examples of African Art and starting a project on the work of Kandinsky. If you wish to know about this artist … ask a Junior!
	French : With Madam Bower, Year 5 & 6 are learning to describe life in the countryside and by the seaside.Year 3 & 4 are preparing the drama of “les trois petits cochons”.
	Music : We are busy preparing for our big musical in July “Can you hear the people sing?”We also have choir practices and optional individual tutorials.
	Chapel : This term we are learning from Nehemiah how to react to problems and difficulties. He is a tremendous example of trusting in God and making a difference with prayer and action.
	Science : With Mrs Barrett we are currently conducting experiements with electricity.
	ICT : With Mrs Walker we are sorting out information and comparing computer databases.
	Maths : In Maths we are looking at 2D and 3D shapes, measuring weight, length, capacity and time.There are lots of opportunities to use the knowledge at home …
	Literacy : Year 5 & 6 are examining instructional texts.Year 3 & 4 are writing non-fiction reports.
